Idea for the Now Bar: My phone is not always locked, nor do I want to open the WHOLE Now Bar UI while doing something. The idea lies where you are able to actually swipe side to side to shuffle through the bars. Maybe even just one direction. Overall, this would make it easier for end users to get MORE information quicker without opening another FULL UI. For example, if I wanted to see how much time I have left on my timer with this song playing, and I'm in the middle of this post (which is happening right now), I would want to be able to just swipe at the bar as displayed, to shuffle between the Now Playing card and the Timer card. This adds overall functionality and convenience to the Now Bar UI.
Here is what I want to see for the Timer.
CUSTOM ICONS
This feature will allow users to change the icons for each timer that is running. This is useful so that users don't accidentally press the buttons on the wrong timer.
For example, you can do one general purpose timer and another for cooking.
CUSTOM COLORS
If that's not enough, also add some colors to timers, instead of using the classic purple. Although it works with the custom colors for the color palette for apps and the mini timer, it does not work with the Now Bar.
UPCOMING ALARM/TIMER NOTIFICATION
When the timer reaches a certain threshold (5, 15, or 30 minutes), turn the timer red in the main app, mini timer, AND on the Now Bar, instead of just during the last five seconds.
TIMER BACKGROUND
Allows the user to set a custom background when a Time Over occurs. For example, if it's someone's birthday when time's up, you can include a photo of someone (or even a Galaxy Avatar variant).
(While alarm backgrounds were introduced in One UI 6.1.1, it does not work on heads-up notifications like the one on the screenshot.)
