Hello, about a week ago I got the Samsung S24 Exynos (256GB) and I’ve been really happy with it overall. But I’ve started getting some ridiculous background battery drain from the Google Play Store on OneUI 8.
I tried going into Settings → Apps → Google Play Store and setting the battery usage to “restricted,” which might’ve helped a little, but it didn’t fix it completely. I also reset the data for both the Play Store and Play Services, and turned off auto app updates.
Right now I’m getting around 4 hours of screen time and about an hour and a half of background Play Store activity, even though I haven’t opened the app or had it open in the background. What’s weird is that yesterday the background activity time was about the same, but the drain was way lower (around 1.8% for both the Play Store and Play Services), which still isn't normal but it was more usable.

I wanna clarify that I've enabled the restrictions today midday when I noticed it, I'll update here tomorrow if it has gotten better with all the restrictions.
