Blurry pics when received in text

My husband and I both have samsung s24 phones.  As of three days ago, the pics we text to each other are all of a sudden blurry.  How can I fix this?

@Carol78 How are you sending them? If you are near each other, use QuickShare. Then you will get full resolution photos.

We are usually sending between work and home so more than 10 miles.

This is ridiculous. Im have the same problem with a brand new phone. AI integrated but cant receive pictures?!

@amich Did you just switch from an iPhone?

If so, did you turn off the Apple messaging?

Nope, ive always had a galaxy s since the S8 so idk what the deal is. I turned off RCS chat and it seems to help

I have this same issue. It's really frustrating. It worked fine until a few months ago. Now I cant get images from iphones.

This problem started for me about 2-3 months ago and it seems to be only when I get screenshots from someone else.  I made sure the RCS Chats was enabled, I do not have the 2nd step about sending pics faster under messages. I have a S24 Ultra. Anyone find any other solution yet?

I'm having this issue when getting texts from an iPhone to my Samsung phone. Anyone know of a fix?

I have the s24 Ultra (on VZW network).  A friend has a current model Google Pixel and when he sends images (low or high res doesn't matter) to a group chat that includes myself and several iPhone users.   The image is blurry for me, but clear for everyone else that receives it.  We all have RCs enabled.  It started for me after a September 2025 update.   Doesn't matter if he sends a single image or multiple images.   They are all blurry for me.
