Why doesn't my phone vibrate and light up anymore when text comes in? It used to before last update.

Recheck your settings. Sometimes after a **bleep**ty update like we just got, random apps/settings end up going to default or resetting. Stupid, ik but check if 'show even when screen is off' is totaled on/off

After every update one of the first things you should do is recheck your settings, as with some updates, settings get moved/consolidated with other settings or get reset to the default.  You don't have to check the right away, but if something is doing something it didn't before or is not doing something it did before, it's best to check those settings before other troubleshooting measures.
