This update makes my phone drain it's battery every minute every minute, before it used to last 1 or 2 days active use, now it doesn't even last an hour, the ui all of it sucks, Samsung really needs to re think there terrible design, they need to fire all people that created this horrid trashy ui
Considering overnight, during sleep is 7 hours or more; and during that time, the phone backs up and performs other tasks - it is not idle at night - it does not seem an unreasonable charge loss - I don't know, I charge my phone at night, every night. In order to do nightly backups, the phone requires to at least 30% power, so I assume it uses a lot of energy to do that operation and still have power in the morning. How much power does your phone lose during the course of 7 hours in the daytime?

Iโm currently using the S23 FE and Iโve been experiencing serious battery issues since updating to One UI 7โthe phone drains incredibly fast and system performance feels unstable. Iโm considering switching to the S24 Ultra, but Iโm worried it might suffer from the same problems.
Does anyone have similar issues with their S24s, like are they laggy or have battery issues?
So far I have found no Solution to the UI7 battery drain issues.
There is lots posted on the "fix" but none of them resolved the problem for me. I now see much of the "solutions" posted as gaslighting the customer hopping customers will just live with the problem of buy a new phone.
