Update causing Battery drain S23

This update makes my phone drain it's battery every minute every minute, before it used to last 1 or 2 days active use, now it doesn't even last an hour, the ui all of it sucks, Samsung really needs to re think there terrible design, they need to fire all people that created this horrid trashy ui

No the search bar can’t be moved and the battery will stabilize in a few days once the phone re learns your usage patterns

Actually, there is a way to move the search bar. Nova will do that. The other thing i like about nova is even with a large OS update, the menu has very few changes. On mine everything is still in place, scrolls the same. Move the search bar up or down or remove it completely.

The only things I wish Nova had is stacked widgets and for Samsung to allow the settings menu for widgets to be accessed.

Huh. Never noticed that. All my apps are in folders and widgets are on my screen. Never tried to stack the widgets in a folder. Interesting idea. I have most of my apps in folders because I got tired of flipping through 6 pages of icons.

Robin is referring to the ability to stack widgets on top of each other not in a folder

It is not a folder per se, what you do is long press on a widget and create a stack.

My Galaxy S23 Ultra battery drains really fast after the phone update. Is there anything that I can do to fix it?

My phone battery was awesome right after installing the recent software updates it's draining my device battery. It's a scam Samsung want their consumer to buy the new device. It is not fair. Samsung has to investigate this or we need to report this to consumers protection department.
