Timer vibration pattern is unable to be changed

In samsung's clock app, the timer's vibration pattern is unable to be changed. So when a timer ends, the pattern occurs, but it was permanently chosen at some random point in one's samsung phone ownership.

How can one change the vibration pattern in one's timer in the samsung clock app?

Are there any plans to fix this bug?

Unfortunately, there is no option that I'm aware of to set a vibration pattern per app or app feature. There is only a general vibration pattern for all notifications.

If you want to change the general vibration for all notifications, then go to the phone settings > Sounds and vibration > Notification vibration.

Beyond that, I have read that the app, Buzzkill Notification Manager, has features (among several) that allow you to set tone and vibration for even as specific as a single contact.

The problem is that the vibration pattern on my clock app is different from the general vibration pattern. It carried over from some older version of samsung's software on one of my old phones.

I read a post that someone's is stuck to the heartbeat pattern. But mine is stuck on the waltz pattern.

This is a bug samsung never bothered to fix.

I double checked my own clock app, and it has settings for alarm sounds and vibration pattern per alarm. Even the timer's alarm and vibration can be changed. I rarely use the vibration, so I wasn't aware of the different patterns. Are you using a different clock app from the Samsung one?

I am using the samsung clock app and cannot change the timer vibration, only the timer sound. Can you post a picture of how you were able to change it?

You're right, can only turn on and off. I most have clicked the sound before and assumed it was the same as the vibration.

As shown here on my s23+ up-to-date samsung clock app, the vibration pattern cannot be changed. Changing the system vibration pattern does not change the vibration pattern of the timer.1760092478347.jpg

Starting to sound like a setting data that has no controls to actually set said data. Not sure if clearing the data would actually touch the timer vibration data, and you need to re-input all you alarms and preset timers afterwards.

I researched Buzzkill app. It apparently is base around creating rules that search for user-defined keywords, and apply things like vibration, blocking, and such. Unfortunately, Buzzkill is ad saddled, with a one-time payment for ad-free mode.

Sorry. I'm out of ideas.
