With the update to One UI 7, we received a vertical app drawer with no pages. I wanted the horizontal pagination style back as was in previous One UI versions. I found that you can only achieve this by selecting "Custom Order" from the 3 dot menu in the app drawer. However, this causes all of the apps to be out of order and pages to not be completely filled. After going back to the 3 dot menu I found that there is now a "Clean up pages" button. After clicking this, all of the apps condensed to fill each page, but they are not sorted alphabetically. Going back to alphabetical sorting puts the app drawer back into vertical scrolling.

We need the option to have the horizontal pagination design WITH alphabetical sorting. You pumped all of these AI features we weren't asking for into the update, but left out alphabetical sorting on the app drawer for horizontal pagination.

Please fix this!

THIS SO MUCH

Also, please give us an option to remove the search bar in exchange for one more row of icons.

I find the app drawer not intuitive because if one has many apps scrolling vertically seems like You're scrolling to Infinity and beyond. Please please I find it very annoying and I'm sure others too I would like to go back to UI 6 just to get the original app drawer back because even though you put it at horizontal you cannot put it in alphabetical order. I'm not happy with the money I spent on the s24 Plus I was looking forward to the update and so far this is the biggest annoyance because we utilize apps often and it takes longer to get to them Yes there is the search bar but remembering all the apps by name is difficult. Please come up with an update to correct this and give everybody the option to have everything and alphabetical order both vertical and horizontal it shouldn't take much time. That is something that should have been thought of when creating UI 7. It's just common sense.
