The stock voicemail app will not notify me if I have a voicemail, ever.

My parents called me last week and my mom left me a message that my dad was sick. I didn't receive the call so I didn't know there was a voicemail. After missing a call from someone I knew I dialed my voicemail and friend there were MANY voicemails there. Including one from the state about arranging an inspection from the state for my farm. From 4 months ago!

I haven't received a single notification. I called my number and left a voicemail again with no notification.

FIX IT!

The Samsung Visual Voicemail app will not show up in a search on the Galaxy Store for me. It will on my wife's phone. Considering that it has been bombed with 1 star reviews on their site it's not a my phone problem, but possibly a Samsung problem.

Visual voice mail is a carrier app and not Samsung. Again contact your carrier for help.

There is no Samsung visual voice mail app. It's not in Samsung store. It's not in the apple or Google stores. It's a carrier app. Tmo, Verizon and att all have it. The native voice mail app on Samsung phones is not visual.

Huh, if you long press the voicemail app and go to information. Then open in the Galaxy Store it takes you to the attached picture. Same of you search on the store. I think the name at the top says "Samsung Visual Voicemail" unless I'm reading it wrong.1737415199728.jpg

Once again, voicemail is a carrier issue.  Just because your wife is not having a problem does not mean that your voicemailbox is sending the correct signal to your phone that there is a message. You have two different pieces of hardware and two different phone numbers and voicemailboxes, so they are not exactly the same.  You may need to have the mailbox reset.  If you don't want to contact your carrier, that's a *you* problem.  If you truly think it's a phone issue, reset your phone.  Then put in an error report with Samsung.  Yelling at them to fix something on this forum is not going to get anything done at all, you have to actually INFORM them of the problem through the proper channels - and that channel is not a user-to-user forum.  As I said before, though, I can pretty much guarantee they will tell you to contact your carrier first and then reset your phone.

What phone are you using? The s20-24 do not have a voicemail app. Voicemail is handled by the phone app. Again go to the play store and download your carriers voicemail app.
