and yes it is enabled.

Taking a pic-->watermark is displayed.

Taking a video--> NO watermark is displayed.

I've tried restarting the cell but vid still does not display the watermark.

Is that dependent on the format (HDR10, etc) or should it show regardless of format.

Thank you. I did find the workaround and not quite what I wanted but it will do.

The โ€œWatermarkโ€ toggle in the Galaxy Camera is designed for still photos only. On the S23 FE (and most other One UI devices), Samsungโ€™s camera app simply doesnโ€™t overlay the watermark when you switch to any video-recording modeโ€”regardless of resolution, HDR10+, frame-rate, or codec. Samsungโ€™s own documentation lists the feature exclusively under the Pictures section of Camera settings, not under Video settings, and community threads requesting โ€œwatermarks on videosโ€ confirm it hasnโ€™t been implemented yet.

Work-arounds if you need a watermark on clips

MethodWhat to doProsConsSamsung Gallery Video EditorOpen the recorded clip โ†’ โœ๏ธ Edit โ†’ โ€œStickersโ€ tab โ†’ select the built-in Samsung Galaxy sticker (or import your own PNG logo) and place it where you want.Built in, free, quick for occasional use.Manual per-video step; no batch automation.Good Lock โ†’ Camera Assistant(If available for your region/device) Enable โ€œQuick Video Editorโ€, then create a routine that adds a preset overlay.Stays in Samsung ecosystem; keeps HDR metadata intact.Camera Assistant support is rolling out slowly; may not be offered on the S23 FE yet.Third-party editors (e.g., CapCut, InShot, Kinemaster)Import clip, add image/text watermark, export.Full style control; can save presets for reuse.Extra processing time; exports may re-encode and reduce quality; some apps add their own ads or logo unless you pay.Automated batch (desktop)Use FFmpeg with the overlay filter and a transparent PNG logo; script it to process multiple files.Fully automated, no UI taps.Requires a computer; re-encodes unless you use stream copy in identical format.

Bottom line: youโ€™re not missing a hidden settingโ€”the camera watermark simply isnโ€™t supported for video on the S23 FE right now. If Samsung ever adds it in a future One UI update, it will appear as a separate โ€œVideo watermarkโ€ toggle under Camera Settings โ†’ Video, but for the moment youโ€™ll need one of the above work-arounds.
