As part of a thorough investigation into suspected abuse of a promotional offer, we’ve determined that your Perplexity Pro account does not match our records for having obtained the promotion through the intended flow. We're writing to inform you that your Perplexity Pro subscription has been suspended effective immediately.

Right.. and if you show the screenshot from accepting the promo banner from the members app.. that they ask for.. they send you back a message that says.. sorry.. we know we asked for that.. but.. it is still canceled.. theif. Pretty crazy way to alienate New and future customers.. people accepted the offer in good faith.. wether it was a mistake on their part.. now.. they tell those same people.. not only are we not at fault.. you're a theif. Thanks forbthe proof you accepted it properly.. but.. sorry.. you're still a theif.. Crazy.
Right, and then the bot askes for a receipt for my phone which seemed sketchy and something Samsung should know about for whatever this partnership is oe that the whole thing is a scam.
Yeah, I sent Perplexity the email I got from them when I got the subscription, and the add showing that I was eligible for a free subscription. They kept asking for more information, like what code I used (there was no code), a receipt (I only got the welcome email), and information about my Samsung account (I'm not giving that). It's either bait and switch, or just data mining. I finally told them to forget it and I'll delete their app.
I agree 100%. I took advantage of the offer legitimately. And now they have canceled it for incorrect reasons since I am eligible. In reality it should not have been able to be downloaded and set up if it was not legitimate. This is extremely poor customer service and even though I only used it one time I thought it was pretty good but not anymore due to the way this company is treating its customers.
As i type on my s24 ultra in the samsung members app.. Crazy.. what a shady company. Sad.. because it was pretty cool. I would have subscribed after a year.. will never give them a penny now. Weird way to run a company.
