Completely agree with you — some of these changes just make things harder, not better. Samsung really should offer more flexibility instead of forcing a one-size-fits-all design.  It’s a reminder that a proper Mobile-First Approach should prioritise usability and performance on mobile devices. Assigned Expert Raw to double-press of the side button, but when using the gesture while the phone is locked, it prompts for unlocking the phone before pictures can be taken.

However, if the Expert Raw app is assigned to one of the two quick launch shortcuts, it opens without unlocking from there.

It would be nice if this behavior worked with the double-press gesture, just like the regular camera app.

What does everyone think of the new update? I have always had pages for my app menu and I'm not a fan of the scrolling option!

It also changed my app theme to a weird burnt orange color. 

I can learn to live with the new notification panel engagement and the new settings gestures.. but bring back pages in my apps menu. I like flipping through pages.

App drawer can be changed to page style, swipe to open, select the 3 dots, press sort, and select custom

Can I reroll this absolutely terrible update my phone just got? It is ugly and moves every single app on my phone for no reason.

You can change the apps back by setting to custom order
