One UI 7 Battery Icon Feedback

The new battery level icon in One UI 7 looks to be off center when displaying 100%. This could be the font playing with my eyes, but definitely looks awkward.

The battery icon in ui6 version 14 is much easier to read and larger and while ui7 android 15 is hard to read font inside the battery percentage circle is terrible. Increasing icon size on screen does not make a difference for status bar there is no changes that will increase the size of the status bar.

Oh yea I know and the only way you can see it real clear is by using a white wallpaper

I also use the battery widget. I just changed the background setting to white. It affects the battery icon and I find it easier to read now.

If you long press on a blank space on your wallpaper, options should appear, allowing you to modify your home screens. Wallpaper, themes, widgets and settings. The widget selection lets you place quick/direct access options (or info) for your apps onto your screen. The battery widget allows you to see the battery status of your connected Samsung devices, such as a galaxy watch or earbuds (and a few others). In the settings options for the battery widget, you can specify light, dark or match phone setting. If you select light background (My system setting is set to dark), It will set the background color of the icon to white. This gives me enough contrast to read the battery percentage easier. Hope that helps.

Oh I'll just leave it as it is especially if it's not going to be in the corner at the top, I don't like anything on my home screen except the time and weather widget

Thats fine. I just tested on my phone. I Changed the background color of the widget to light. I then removed the widget. The battery icon at the top, retained the white background. Some folks don't like to make changes and that's perfectly fine. I am sure in a future update we will have other options. There appears to be a lot of negative feedback for this icon change. This was raised during the beta, along with a bunch of other design issues. If Samsung is going to do anything about it, I suspect it will be a while. They have bigger fish to fry, imo.
