No longer have the option to set my alarm volume to gradually get louder

I used to have my alarm set to a "gentle wake". It would start at a lower volume and gradually get louder. Since the last update it just blares on. I HATE being woken up like that. I tried to Google how to fix it but the options listed aren't available in the app. Anyone know how i can fix this? Galaxy S23 Ultra.

1. Click on the alarm you want changed
2. Click on alarm sound
3. Pick ringtone
4. Bottom of the screen - Gradually increase volume.
