Will tap to pay work using the front of the phone?  I have the back covered and would like to use it.

Sorry for delay. I've used NFC with Google Wallet successful.

I opened wallet, NFC on, touched the point of sale terminal, had to answer right amount, cash back, PIN. Complete.

Have 2 images of my case, side and back. It's not very thick but enough to protect phone. Black circle is metal disk for magnetic car holder.IMG_0075_1000003999_1703862997.jpgIMG_0078_1000004000_1703863006.jpg

I would think having a cover, at least the normal variants, wouldn't block NFC. Have you tried it?

I've tried my wallet with three cards and it does not work.  I don't wish to buy anything until I hear someone had had success with a pop socket, magnet, cover, something and having NFC work.  Mine does not seem to work face down.

If I happen to try my NFC I'll post about it. I've got some kind of moderate thickness back with side bumper thing T-Mobile was selling. I added a metal disk to the back for car magnetic holder to use Google maps.

Mine is standard S23 T-Mobile
