Both of my mobile plan includes roaming and data in other countries. My two numbers, one Canadian and one American, are always active in my s23 Ultra. Recently, I have started to see this annoying roaming message every couple of hours pop up on my device. The last time this was an issue, was back just after the s23 Ultra was released and it was fixed in the March 2023 update, I believe. Can we have a toggle to disable this, please? Otherwise, fix it again and for good this time.
I was hoping to find a solution to this issue. I live near the Canadian/US border and this popup has been nonstop. The popup completely ignore all my disabled notifications, interrupting my phone usage like every 10 minutes or less. It's extremely obnoxious. Hoping for a fix to this issue soon, not some useless explanation and non-answer like samsung gave earlier in this thread.
This does not solve the issue. Please do not mark this as a solution. Please read the thread more carefully and see that we are still having the same issue over a year after this thread was started. This is ridiculous to deal with, especially for anyone who travels outside their home country with any frequency.
This is a bug or just very poor UI/UX at best and needs to be addressed.
There is clearly NOT a fix to this problem... how could have we regressed from Android 5 (and before) when there was an option to accept roaming changes, and not be annoyed with this idiotic message? @Samsung , please read through this thread and let us, the users, choose to not be constantly annoyed while roaming!
Same here after reboot with US Mobile. Messed with APN and all that still nothing. Then I tried turning location off and on a few times and presto it was off. Good Luck.
Live near the U.S./Canadian border and just switched form A motorola Edge to a Samsung S2 Ultra. Annoying Date Usage popups every 20 min. Help Samsung!!! Fix this problem!!! Maybe get this Motorala because THEY know what they are doing.
I'm getting this pop up every 10-15 seconds, and I keep having to click cancel in order to get back to what I was doing since the pop up disabled and grayed out everything. It's a major bug as I can't even use my phone with this constant pop up notification that forces me to keep clicking cancel even though I have data roaming.
