Extra Dim not working correctly after update

I have Extra Dim turned on all the time, and I've been using a routine to turn it off for specific apps. This has worked great until the recent big update to one ui 8.

Now the routine is unable to restore the previous brightness level that Extra Dim is set to. Sometimes the level is set to something different every time the routine gets triggered. I'm guessing this is a new bug,

I tried rebooting but the problem continues. 

How do I get this working properly again?

All the colors and brightness are off. I thought t I was the only one noticed this.

Wipe your partition. My colors and brightness settings reset and came bk like before the update.

Thanks for the suggestion. In my case the overall colors and brightness are fine. And extra dim on its own is also fine.

The problem only happens when using a routine to turn the extra dim feature back on again, where the dim amount is double or triple of what I set in the routine.
