Could someone tell me how ex husband is able to read my text messages REMOTELY?! Is there something I should turn off or on or use a different message app???
The only way I can think of is if youโre using Google Messages and signed into multiple devices. In that case, your messages would sync across all devices that are signed in. If youโre using Google Messages, I suggest changing your Google Password. This should stop the syncing and help you check if youโre signed in on any other devices at

That's what I was wondering. Seems like he could change the password too. Or does it not let anyone else do that except by the phone? I was also thinking using a different app/source. Wonder if that would work?
He would need to know your password to change it and when I change mine I have to verify with a Device. I would suggest going to https://myaccount.google.com/ and click on Devices and see if you are signed into anything you don't know. I would then sign out out of everything that your not using and then change your password.

Youโre welcome. I check my account weekly to ensure that all the signed-in devices are mine. I log out of all other devices except the one Iโm currently using to check. This is the only way to guarantee the security of your account.
