I went to my YouTube app to modify battery settings and at the bottom middle has the word enable. If I click on it it asks me if I'm sure I want to disable the app. Enable should say disabled. It's like clicking an on an on button. My YouTube app has never been disabled. I don't know if that's an easy fix or a glitch but I'm pretty sure it's backwards

Looks like a bug mine says disable. I suggest clicking on the support tab and submit a error report

Oddly I did put it in deep sleep earlier but I've watched plenty of videos since then.

Did you ever put YouTube in deep sleep?
Do you have apps automatically put in deep sleep after 30 days?
When you put apps in deep sleep this is what it does. You can still watch YouTube when it is put in deep sleep. The app will not look for updates. What you are see, you are pressing to fast and getting like a double tap, it thinks you are putting in in deep sleep again. Not a bug, normal behavior. It happens when you have manually put the app in deep sleep.
