Calendar - won't allow file attachment without signing in to Microsoft Onedrive

It seems I cannot attach a photo file to my calendar event without it automatically going to sign in to Microsoft for Onedrive. I don't need a file from Microsoft OneDrive, I have the file on my phone already, I just want to attach it from my phone NOT an online account.
Does anyone else have this problem?

@CatGymnPaint Is the appointment on a Outlook or Microsoft Exchange account?

I went to check out the situation and I was prompted about allowing Calendar to access my Google account. The appointment I was editing is in my Google calendar.

It's on my Samsung calendar.

@CatGymnPaint It looks like it asks for the cloud unless you pick a calendar which is on "My Phone"

You may want to submit feedback to Samsung via the Samsung Members app -> Support -> Send feedback

It doesn't ask me to pick, just wants me to sign in and I can't find a way to change that.
Anyway, I did send feedback to Samsung. Thank you.

I'm seeing the same thing. Either asks for Google or Microsoft account.

Well, this is all I got from Samsung when I reported the problem:
"Thank you for taking time to provide your feedback. We always strive to improve our customer's experience and your feedback is invaluable in helping us reach this goal. We will closely review your comments and take any necessary action to improve our services. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any further comments or concerns. We appreciate your continued support and look forward to serving you in the future."

@CatGymnPaint Using the Send feedback, that is probably an appropriate response. This gets pushed to the development team. It is not direct troubleshooting support.

For immediate assistance, one option is to use the Samsung Members app -> Support -> Send text. This will open up live troubleshooting.

Another option is to contact Samsung support via https://www.samsung.com/us/support/contact/
