Galaxy S23@CatGymnPaint Is the appointment on a Outlook or Microsoft Exchange account?
I went to check out the situation and I was prompted about allowing Calendar to access my Google account. The appointment I was editing is in my Google calendar.

Galaxy S23@CatGymnPaint It looks like it asks for the cloud unless you pick a calendar which is on "My Phone"
You may want to submit feedback to Samsung via the Samsung Members app -> Support -> Send feedback

Galaxy S23@CatGymnPaint Using the Send feedback, that is probably an appropriate response. This gets pushed to the development team. It is not direct troubleshooting support.
For immediate assistance, one option is to use the Samsung Members app -> Support -> Send text. This will open up live troubleshooting.
