Calendar: can't invite people to event?

It seems the only way I can do this is to go to my Google calendar and edit the event.

@Mike20878 If you are using the Samsung Calendar, click the Invitees line to invite people.

OP's phone may not have that option. My S23+ doesn't have it either.

It will only show if the Calendar event is stored on a Google calendar.

Oh I see. That would explain it since I never bothered getting a Google account. Thanks for clarifying. 🙂

Interesting deal. I went to Samsung Calendar and tried it. Some would allow invites. But if I tried it for a holiday or birthday I have tagged it didn't have the invites. But if I had something that I set up it had the invite option. Gonna Experiment some more.
EDIT : I think @LongHiker is correct. I use Google ask the time and all these were created on Google. Still gonna experiment. Lol

My issue is that it won't let me click on the Invitee line. This was never an issue before the most recent update. Now i have to go into the google app itself to add people

I am finding this too. My husband hasn't updated and his works perfectly fine.
