How do I turn off the auto pop-up when I delete email, set an alarm, etc as circled in this screenshots?

It's up for at least 30 seconds. I can't dismiss it, and I can't read underneath it.

You can go to phone Settings > Apps, and the app you don't want pop-ups, click Notifications, and turn off "Notification pop-up". Or Notifications > Notification categories, click on the category label (not the switch), and turn off "Show as pop-up".

Also, since you seemed bothered by the 30 seconds display time, you could go to phone Settings > Accessibility > Advance settings > Time to take action, and choose 10 seconds or "Default" (and yes; Default tends to be faster than 10 seconds).

These are toast notifications. These are distinct from Pop-ups. Pop-ups are interactive banners at the top of the screen.

Sorry, but to my knowledge there is no way to disable or shorten the duration of toasts.

The "Time to take action" setting used to affects toasts, but definitely affects controls like volume, and pop-up Notifications.

Correct. As you stated, 10 seconds is often longer than default.

To my knowledge, show as pop up settings will not disable toasts.

30 seconds? I think not, unless you have an accessibility adjustment. Toasts generally appear on screen barely long enough to be read - 10 seconds or less. They are there to notify you that an action you initiated is taking place.

The phone's default time up for toasts is less than 5 seconds. Selecting 10 seconds is an increase in time. I have my time to take a tion set at default and I barely have time to read and react to the ones that do pop up.

Ok Samsung, we get it, but you could at least let us move pop up out of the way, when responding to a message in real-time.
All we did was paste a correction.
Cheers
