Which is better picture quality for taking pictures of my kids,12M vs 108M on Samsung S22 Ultra?

The 12mp will give you more zoom options and good photos

@AlCastle The 108 MB will give you the most detail. Instead of using zoom, you can crop the picture afterwards and still have great detail.
