I literally had to come make an account just to rant about this because this new update is just so ridiculously bad. Why were things that were perfectly fine get messed with? Have you never heard of "If it ain't broke don't fix it?"

Instead of an easy to read battery level, now whenever my battery isn't full it's harder to see what my % is because the visual battery behind it makes it difficult to see at at quick glance.

The double sided slide down menu is a pain when trying to work and only using 1 hand and needing to reach my thumb all the way over now if I need to use the flashlight for example.

The music window on the lockscreen being moved down to the bottom in a tiny box smaller than my thumb print is probably one of the most annoying things of all. I shouldn't have to explain that one.

Let us change these things back! And don't let the person who thinks they need to put their hands on every little thing ever update your phones again!!

I understand change can be frustrating.

Here is a helpful post with things that can be changed back: https://us.community.samsung.com/t5/Samsung-Apps-and-Services/A-list-of-features-that-can-be-changed...

You can revert to the legacy notification panel by opening the quick settings panel, tapping the pencil icon, then panel settings, then together.

The music controls can be expanded to the previous size by tapping the album art.

Sorry, the battery is not reversible but the option will be added in the 8.5 update.
