No it's not about the sensitivity. It's kind of a hard thing to replicate because the bug happens randomly. But what I'm trying to say is that sometimes when I swipe up to go home, it will also scroll the page of the app I have open as well while doing the animation if that makes sense.
I've had this issue on the new iPhones, and the new Samsungs. Basically, you just have to make sure you're swiping up from the very bottom of the display.
