Galaxy S22Was it really necessary to post screen shots of every setting on the panel? It was enough to show one to illustrate those bands being disabled. There is also the ability to a) resize the photos to a reasonable size and b) place them side by side. We should not have to do a long scroll to get past the photos.

Galaxy S22@Dad2Sad This is definitely due to the limitation of the built-in phone speaker. Giving you the ability to slide them would accomplish nothing since the built-in speakers are limited in that frequency range.
Connecting any earphone or earbuds (wired or wirelessly) will give you the ability to adjust that for sound using those devices.

Galaxy S22The device's equalizer worked fine before the December update. After the update the 9 band equalizer only uses 7 bands. That's a snafu...

Galaxy S22Reading comprehension is a gift. You were told several times that those bands are only operable when your phone is connected to a BT device. They may have been operable previously, but they likely did absolutely nothing, as the internal speaker is not capable of of those frequencies. If you actually had a musical ear, you would have been able to discern that the sliders were doing nothing on those frequencies. Once again, the equalizer will utilize all 9 bands when a BT device is connected. It's not a snafu, it's a design. Frankly, if you want music hall quality sound, get yourself a proper stereo system and forgo using your phone as an audio source.
If you want to hear this from an official source, feel free to put in an error report to the developers. They will explain it to you. https://us.community.samsung.com/t5/Tips-Tricks/How-to-Send-Feedback/ba-p/3001692
