No clear button and some apps have no text.. just an icon... (when phone is unlocked.) I have cleared cache at boot and for all apps impacted and even went as far as clearing the data from X. Still not fix..

Don't use Rust Desk?  Why do you use that app to begin with?  There are built in options for casting and remote access.

Not to open Pandoras box.. about remote desktop support options.. happen to know of a setting to disable this strange security setting?

Why do you think it's a "strange" setting? The remote desktop support is only used when  you grant permission when seeking help in the support section. If you never need support, it does not get used.  If you need support, but don't want to grant permission for remote access, don't.  If you are so paranoid that you think it's being exploited, make sure auto blocker is turned on in your security and privacy settings and go through every single one of the security and privacy settings and turn on/off what you want/don't want. 

You downloaded Rust Desk (which allowed remote access), it did not get there by itself.  Seems it was a conscious choice.
