Greetings,

I am experiencing some new behavior with my Samsung S22 using the Samsung Health app.  I have been using it for some time with pretty good success.  It seemed to always be reliable with regard to distance walked, etc.  I am not as concerned with steps.  Lately, last couple times I've walked it has been having a very difficult time getting the GPS signal and holding it.  As a result when my wife and I walk together our distances are off by anywhere from a half mile to a mile or more.  Just to have complete disclosure I recently got a Samsung Galaxy Watch8.  Had it a couple weeks and it seems to be doing fine.  Don't know if this has anything to do with it.

Everything is up to date with regard to software, etc.  I have included a screenshot of the Health app trying to get the GPS signal.  It does this constantly causing the app to think that I have stopped walking, etc, causing my mileage and steps for that matter to be off by a good bit; nowhere near my wife's mileage.  The interesting thing is that it still shows the route I'm taking without missing a beat.

Any ideas as to what could be happening?

thanks for you attention

When you say the software is updated, do you mean all software, including the patch that sent to the watch?

Did you wipe cache partition on the watch after the update?

Watch and phone are at the latest software I am aware of.  As for the cache partition on the watch, I am not aware of where the setting is for that.  Where is that setting?

thank you
