Hello, my fellow S22 Ultra users. The time has come for many of us to be able to upgrade. My question is simply this, are you looking at the S26 series, or are you keeping the S22?

Would you get it, or would you keep the one you have, and wait until the S27? 🤔

S24U user, no, because as new phones come out, we get fewer features but higher prices.

No way I've got a S22 ultra and a couple Note 10+(the Apex of phones at this point the camera is the only thing that's better. Even the battery that's not the original but it's old AF last so much longer than the 22 ultra with a brand new battery in it. I pretty much only use the 22 ultra if I got to make a phone call or text message or no WiFi. Not sure everybody already knows this but you can take these phones completely apart and put them back together in 10 Max 15 minutes. Magnetize the tip of your precision screwdriver keeping up with the screws is the only obstacle I've incurred.

If I had an ULTRA s22, I would keep the S22 Ultra for the S Pen, I think one has Bluetooth and I think that A Samsung S26 Ultra does not bring it but we will see when it goes on sale.

No, not unless an great offering is there. While the S25U for me was a better hardware device overall than the previous two models (I skipped them and kept my S22u for three years), it is no longer enough to justify spending over $1300 on the lowest priced S26U model (if it's that much) that will not be substantially more powerful than the S25U. My biggest thing is camera hardware where I bought into it being better on the S25U. While the rumors of the S26U camera specs appear to be markedly better, I feel little burned on the S25U physical camera specs which then went on to receive no real software improvements this whole time, and that has me backing off. It is a lot of money

Samsung offers a $1000 trade-in, I may consider it. But right now, I am looking at the March release(?) of the Oppo Find 9X Ultra. The Oppo Find 9X Pro has been reviewed over every other camera system out there currently as being the best, has a 7500mAh battery with a 80w charging speed along with a 50w wireless charging speed, and they all come with their chargers too, for just over $1000. It is probably time anyway to change brands as I have been using Samsung devices straight up since late 2017.
