Galaxy S22My S22 wouldn't boot after a Samsung software update this morning. It looked like it was completing the update where I could see the percentage progress. Then, it turned black and dead.
I tried forced reboot with Vol Down and Power button seems to run, but after loading the ONE UI page (reaching 100%), it just turned dead. I also tried entering recovery mode but nothing happened when I tried Vol Up and Power button (I kept pressing up to 1 min or so and still dead). Also tried when connected to a laptop, and still nothing. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks.

Galaxy S22Dear Fellow User,
If you provide the specific update version and your device model it will help the Samsung technicians greatly assist you as they now know what processor is affected by the update and what update it was.
Is your phone on the list of those eligible for the update?
We recommend to most users that you make sure your device is on the charger when running an update. Another thing you can do is do some research on the update details before proceeding to get feedback from other users.
Hook up your phone to Samsung Smart Switch on a computer and try and manually restore it. You can do so with the emergency software recovery and utilisation feature.
If this doesn't work take your phone to the nearest Samsung Experience store.
This happened to me with an older Samsung model phone so I understand how frustrated you must feel, but let's see if a corrupted install can be restored.
A Fellow User like you,
M

Galaxy S22I understand but what I mean is if he is asking users without a clear description of what he needs assistance with I can just imagine how the technicians feel.
The phone should warn you when your battery is too low for the update.

Galaxy S22Thanks very much for all the responses. It seems to be a battery issue. I thought it was fully charged when I clicked 'Install now,' but maybe it was close to empty. After plugging in several cables, I was able to turn it on.
