The new update rolled out for my device...

Now the screen... has a lockout timer.. that i can not bypass .. leaves me unable to use my phone for 10 minutes...

This has never been on the device...

How do you disable and or remove this from the phone

Did you input the wrong password multiple times? That's the only reason the lockout timer would appear.

We know the purpose Sherlock....

The question was how to remove or disable the security feature I DON'T WANT.

What I don't want... to go to use my phone and have to wait 10 mins to use tap to pay or anything else on my phone because there's a feature now on the phone... that was added.

The fearure was always there. It's a security measure you cannot disable if you use a login method . If you don't care about security, when you gain acess to your phone turn off all security and then you won't have to enter a login method and you will not get locked out. Neither will anyone else.

And I don't think you can disable.

This only way to disable is to have no lock at all!

You are absolutely right! It's completely unjust for a phone to have a security feature that disables attempts so people don't try to steal your phone.. I can't believe they would do that!

I hope you realize how ridiculous that sounds.

I'm also going to point out the obvious, that's always been there. I have even triggered it once myself accidentally. And I would usually be nicer, but you have failed to show that to others.. so yeah, get over it, and maybe set your pin to something you won't "forget"

If you are activating your screen in your pocket, you are best seved by turning off lift to wake and tap to wake and make sure accidental touch protection is on.
