Keyboard covering text box in Messages

I just noticed in my text messages when typing the text box only get so big then I can't see the words because they are under the keyboard. But if I close the keyboard I can see the words. It didn't do this before. I think the app updated and now is doing it. Is there a way to change it back?

This just started happening and I already tried undoing updates but that did not work.  On longer text messages, at a certain point, it quits allowing me to see what I am typing.  I have been at this for hours changing settings and googling to no avail.  Help?  Before I smash it with a hammer.  thank you

I have S23 and Ian only type a paragraph before I can't see what I am typing. If I go past 30 it will leave me with no waybto send. What's going on?😮

Yeah baby Lucas I'm having the same issues with my s23 ultra and I feel like this should be a fairly easy fix you would think. I mean there has been times when it doesn't block half of my message. And I do know, in the past, I've had phones prior to my Galaxy that I never experienced this issue with! Time to make these updates actually eliminate the bugs please! It would be greatly appreciated!

No this is the issue of the keyboard covering what I am trying to type at a certain point so I cannot see what I am typing on longer text messages

I'm having the same problem with my S23 ultra and have no clue why! It's annoying AF to have to keep lowering the keyboard just to finish typing a thought or be sure there's not any typos or errors in my text messages. There's got to be a solution. And if anyone has solved this mystery, PLEASE DO TELL!! Thankx a million!

Happening on my S24plus since 5th Beta update.

S22 Ultra, using Google Messages, all updates installed.  It is still happening; once enough text has been entered it disappears behind the keyboard.  This is a recent development.  If I hold the phone horizontally, the window is completely behind the keyboard from the start.  I text more than I use the phone for talking - please get this straightened out & roll out a fix right away!

I wanted to see what the messages were like on samsung messages. Then I switched back to Google messages and all my important messages are gone
