There are many different methods to take screenshots. One way is through the Quick Panel. There should be an option to add a "Take screenshot" button. You can also enable "Palm swipe to capture" in Settings>Advanced features>Motion and gestures. Yet another method would be to install Good Lock from the Galaxy Store and find the RegiStar module. With RegiStar, you can set the Side-key press and hold action or Back-tap actions to take a screenshot. Yeah I just checked my dropdown menu and it doesn't have screenshot available in there so that goes back to my last question if you know how to add to the drop-down menu that would be cool if I could do that

You may have to add it to the list of available options in the Quick Panel settings. Swipe down twice and select the pencil icon, then tap "Edit" under the "Full" option. There will be a list at the bottom with available buttons. I'll second the Palm Swipe recommendation, it works from anywhere once you get used to the gesture. (Except for taking screen shots of the open notification tray, the only way to do that is by tethering to a computer.)
