I have an app (OurPhoto), that used to be in the list of apps in the Appear on Top setting menu. But now it no longer is in this list. Is there a way I can add the app back to the list, so I can toggle the Appear on Top setting to 'on'?

It's possible that the app developer did not update the app to be compatible with that aspect of the new system.  Or, they did update the app, and just didn't program the ability for it to be on top of other apps.  You would have to check with the developer of the app.  The only apps that will appear in that list are apps that have the appear on top ability coded into them.

Clear cache & data for the app. It's the same result as uninstalling & reinstalling. You should be prompted to allow it to appear on top of other apps again.

i had tried to unistall and reinstall, but that did not work. How do you clear cache and data for apps? is there any value to trying that if the unistall and reinstall did not work?

All the apps that are  installed on your phone should appear in that list to be toggled on or off.  It is unlikely it's a system app, but it could be hiding as one.  Tap the dot menu  and select "show system apps" and see if it reappears.

Not true. I have many apps that don't show up on that list. Not all apps have that permission.

I'll take your word for it, as I don't use that function.  I only know I see virtually every app that's on my phone in the list.

is there a way to change that permission, so the app does appear on the list? the odd part is, in used to be there, and now it is not.

I think the newest version of the app doesn't have the Appear on Top feature. My brother has an S25 and an older version of the app, and he still can see the app in the Appear on Top list. I'll try to go back to the older version
