Galaxy S21I raised the green line defect which came on August 23 2024 after One UI 6.1 Update in my currently 3.5 year old Galaxy S21 5G (G991). Twice I filed grievances at NCH. In first complaint, Samsung replied to NCH stating customer asked for display replacment for an out of warranty product with display failure which is misleading as my actual problem is the infamous green line issue. When I mail to CEO, Samsung keeps repeating “chargeable repair” while other customers received free display replacements beyond 3 years. No reply to my direct question on this unequal treatment. Silence and avoidance are now recorded.
Samsung – please explain why some get goodwill repairs and others don’t.

Galaxy S21Already contacted Samsung — the issue isn’t lack of support, it’s unequal treatment: some get free replacements, others are denied.

Galaxy S21Yes, exactly — that’s the unfair part. I'm in India and Samsung has offered free or goodwill replacements for the same defect, but not to all customers. Some got it, others like me were denied. This unequal treatment is the issue I’ve raised with NCH and Samsung.
