Ui 8 update

I have the Samsung s21 fe 5g and was does my phone get the ui 8 update? If so how can I go about getting it? BC I go to setting to do the update and it won't work. Help

Thank you. It appears your phone was originally carrier-locked to Verizon. It's looking for updates from Verizon. Return the phone if you can. If it's no longer returnable, your options are:

1. Temporarily install a Verizon SIM (it doesn't have to be active) to get updates. You will have to do this every time there's an update.

2. Take your phone to an authorized service center to have them flash unlocked firmware. There will be a fee for this service, but it will allow you to get OTA updates regardless of which carrier's SIM is installed. See this link to find a location near you:

I have a cricket sim in it and it works. On Amazon it said unlocked to cricket

Can't always be sure with phones off Amazon but if its working for you that's good
