I posted my version anove and I am currently on OneUI8. Clear the cache and data, or uninstall and reinstall the app to make sure you have the layest version.
Clearing the data won't erase your recordings, it will only refresh the app. Uninstalling the app won't erase your recordings, as they are saved to your phone, not in the app. They are in a folder called recordings/voice recorder. They will stay on your phone until you delete them. If you have doubts and want to protect them, take a flash drive and copy them to your flash drive.
Even without OneUI8, check to see if there is an update for the app.
