Notes disappeared after update in Notes app

I opened my notes app after the most recent update and all my notes are gone!

If you backed up your Samsung Acct, you should be able to retrieve them

Yeah, I've been wondering what files I'd lose, and what app settings I'm going to lose when I decide to let it update. Or even if all of my apps will work at all.
