This has been happening for a while now, every once in a while I get added to a group chat with like 19 other people. I keep leaving but it happened again a few minutes ago, how do I stop this from happening and how do I prevent it from happening again?
Samsung messages: I don't interact in any way. Long press, select block & delete. Keeps happening. Each time the app tells me that all the numbers are already blocked. So why do I keep getting these spam group texts? Google says the numbers may be spoofed?
Google messages is not the only app that has the blocking feature. Samsung Messages has it too, you may long press the message or group chat invite and press 3 dots More and Block to block all numbers in the chat group. Same feature as Google.
It is to no use though as these chat groups are randomly generated anew and new chat group invite comes through. I've been getting those every 5 minutes or so in last 3 days.
