It was 253°F just walking out into my garage from the laundry room. Not possible to work on anything till midnight.
By all rights, roofing should be done by moonlight, nice and cool. Playing music on the roof can be heard 3 blocks away in-between blows of hammering. There is nothing like the entire neighborhood restoring their roofs after a major hail storm. Cheers
