Unable to locate a code scanned from an email on my desktop

Cannot find a code I scanned using my phone camera fron an email on my desktop. Where did it go? This is my first attempt at scanning codes. Help please.

If a website didn't pop-up in your camera app, you haven't enabled QR code scanning it is off by default. Open the camera go to settings, toggle on Scan QR codes.
