Trying to de-register old (S7) phone

I am trying to get the old Galaxy S7 off the Samsung "My Products" page.

It won't let me: it directs me to the Samsung Members mobile app. But the mobile app does not list that device on my list of devices. So it only appears on the "My Products" page on the Samsung website.

I traded-in that phone to Samsung a few years back for a newer model.

I texted Samsung Support, but they kept transferring me to different agents to handle this issue, so here I am.

The easy was is to open the Shop app and in my product you can remove old items

The Shop app won't remove it. It persists.

The website pops up a message box: "Please visit the Members application to remove this product from your account."

Strange since that option was removed awhile ago you now have to use the website or the shop app to remove devices

You can remove a device from the Samsung Members mobile app:
Settings --> Samsung Account --> This Device --> (select one of all the listed devices there) --> (menu) --> Remove device.

But my S7 is not listed there.

I suspect the old S7 phone is being actively used by someone now after I traded it in to Samsung. That person didn't/can't register it since I'm still listed as the registered owner, and since it is active, the system won't let me de-register it now.
Or, the Shop app and the Samsung "My Products" website are using an old database, compared to the Members app.
Just my guess.

I did manage to de-register my old S10e recently before I sent it back as a trade-in to my Carrier.
