Galaxy S PhonesYou have to turn on landscape mode for the AOD. In the quick panel, locate the auto rotate icon and long press it. Select the option to auto rotate the lock screen (and any other option you want). When you are on the lock screen, rotate your phone, then tap the side button or wait for the AOD to go on. Your AOD will now be in landscape mode. The AOD is linked to the lock screen, so you have to rotate the lock screen before the AOD goes on. Incidentally, you can schedule the AOD to only go on at night if your intent is to use it as a clock. Settings/lock screen and AOD, tap Always on Display and then tap "when to show" and choose "as scheduled" and set the scheduled time period. Or, you can keep it on all the time, battery use is negligible.
