There are curved screens haha! They're a pain to repair though so they probably won't be coming back.

I am sure there was a valid reason for discontinuing the curved screens.  I think a lot of people didn't like them, some people never noticed and replacements would be more expensive and more difficult to install.

It's a huge business, screen replacement! If people have newish phones they replace the screen when broken. I have never broken a screen, I would replace it if broken.
