Samsung S20 no security update since March 2025

Hi All!

I am still using my Samsung S20 device. But I noticed their hasn't been a security update since March 2025. So, perhaps it is the push to get a new device soon. Can anyone provide me with any feedback with either a S24 or S25? Word around the campfire, Samsung will be releasing a series of new devices in September 2025.

Either s24 or the s25 will be a good choice i would get the plus

I've owned both S24 and S25's and i recommend the S25.  But if you can wait the new S26's will be releasing in Jan 2026

Samsung releases new Z phones in August and new S series phones in January each year

I've had the S21, S23+, and now the S25+. There's only one feature the S25+ doesn't have but the S23+ did. It's a search function when switching between apps using the buttons at the bottom of the screen. It was very helpful to have that feature and I'm slightly sad it's not available now. Example attached. So I'd highly recommend the S25+ if you're in a hurry to upgrade. Otherwise if possible wait for the S26 information!

You can add the search bar to the task changer and/or the mini mode (the buttons at the bottom) through Good Lock's Home Up module.
