This widget isn't bad but the stories change too quickly. I informed Samsung about this before through feedback. I am helping them make the experience better. Maybe it is a bit slower now. Not sure. The feedback return message just says they need more info and can i replicate issue or something. That is so lazy. All they have to do is use the app. I hate that. ..these quick responses...lazy. It is simple functionality of the app. Use it. Do the headlines flip faster than you can read it? Then slow that process down. Frustrating. Come on, Samsung support. You are better than that. Think and try to solve an issue vs easy quick request method. Have to try harder.
The Samsung News app curates news from various sources. Those sources are responsible for the feed. News changes and gets updated fairly quickly. This is not within Samsung's purview to fix. Any news app will change rapidly. If, for example, you put NBC news widget on your phone, the headline will change rapidly.
You may be able to slow down the feed by going to the app settings and choosing the sources from which you want to receive news. Since it will rotate betweeen fewer sources, this may give you more time to read.
