After struggling for a while with the S10+ freezing issue when using headphones, I finally found a solution.
*#0*# settings, under the loop back, there's a "connect headphone" command and once I connected, my phone does not freeze anymore on inserting headphones.
Still working on sim-insert freeze but will soon fix that.
