One Ui 7: Search bar on app screen needs to be placed back at the top

Is there a way to bring back the search bar on top on the app screen.

Why?

It is where it belongs, next to your thumbs for search.

Realistically, Robin, how many people actually need to search their apps on a regular basis?  (Well, maybe now, with the horizontal scroll out of order). They should either make it moveable for those who like it on top or reserve it for the bottom when one puts the phone in one handed mode.  It's an abomination and a distraction on the bottom.

I rarely have to go the app drawer, when I do I use search.
It's where it is supposed to be, next to my thumbs.
It is not a distraction .

When you get the update use feedback to let it be know. Everyone is unhappy should do the same. It's the only way to get change.

I'm making a feedback list for when I get the update.  You and I are forever going to disagree on the location of the search bar.  Since I am one of those that rarely use it, it belongs at the top, out of the way, and out of view.  I don't thumb type anyway; I'm a stylus kind of person. They should have made it a choice.

I just left a one star review for QuickStar. Until they allow us not to have live notifications in the Status bar, specifically the media player. I hate it there. That's what widgets are for.

I do like the now bar portion of Media Player.

One of the raisons d'etre for Samsung is the infinite customization options.  It's what sets them apart. They should just let everyone customize to their hearts' content. I remember when I got my first Samsung, I couldn't believe all the settings I had to go through.  I thought it was just the update to Android 10 that brought all those options, not that it was unique to Samsung.  My previous phone was an ASUS ZenFone.  Silly me, thinking all Androids were the same.

For 2 years I was using Nova Launcher !

Now Goodlock gets me almost there, not quite.

I use Nova Launcher on my Pixel, hate Pixels stock launcher.

They should put a *real* feedback form in the support tab, separate from the error reporting.  As a matter of fact, they should just have an area to submit complaints and requests specifically for OneUI7 so that they can improve OneUI8.  Instead of that massive, unproductive thread going on about OneUI 7.  Instead they are making silly cartoons with BunBun and Carroty. (who thought that one up?)

Agreed. If we want to be forced into someone else's idea of how to use our device we can buy an Apple.
