hey all , so i noticed this issue yesterday and i cant figure it out . I was texting my wife on google messages ( i have a s22 ultra and she has a s25 ultra ) and i was using my galaxy buds 3 pro ( just the right ear at that time ) and she sent me a voice note on google messages and i listened to it and pressed on the voice note icon and started to talk , i left my phone on the counter while i was cooking . i noticed that the sound wave animation was not moving from where i was standing ( i was like 5-6 feet away from my phone ) and im using my right ear bud to talk and i moved closer to my phone and thats when it started to pick up my voice . i noticed that i was not able to record a voice note while using the ear bud but only with the phone's actual microphone. i tried different tests like having my phone at the other side of a room and trying to speak with my ear bud , tried my old galaxy buds pro gen 1 and even my daughters apple air pods but nothing would pick up my voice through the ear bud mic. i did research and rebooted my phone and even did a full reset on the galaxy buds 3 pro but still no fix. i never really did voice notes before so i never noticed this issue until now . i saw something online saying that its a security/privacy feature that google messages has and it only allows the phone's mic to be used . does anyone else have this issue or know of a solution , any help is greatly appreciated. And yes , microphone access is allowed for the google messages app on my phone.
