Galaxy S PhonesHi Samsung Community,
I’ve been experiencing some lagging issues with my Samsung S20 5G, particularly with games like Words With Friends and when typing text messages. There seems to be a delay before the letters I type show up, and sometimes the games lag during play.
Do you think this might be related to a Wi-Fi issue, or is it time to consider upgrading to a new phone? I’d appreciate any insights or suggestions on what could be causing this and how I might resolve it.
Thanks in advance!

Galaxy S PhonesThere are some things you can do to help clear out the cobwebs. Completely turn off the phone, let it sit for a couple minutes, and start it back up. Do this at least weekly.
Clear the device cache. This is something that should be done after every update:
1) Turn off your device.
2) Press and hold the Volume Up button and the Side/Power button until you feel a vibration and the Samsung logo appears. Let go of the buttons.
3) You will now be in Android recovery. Use the Volume buttons to highlight "Wipe cache partition."
4) Press the Side/Power button to execute.
5) Use the Volume buttons to highlight "Yes."
6) Press the Side/Power button to execute.
7) "Reboot system now" will already be highlighted. Press the Side/Power button to execute.

Galaxy S PhonesThank you for your advice Mujibar. I was nervous about tampering with my phone since I also use it for business. I cleared the cache for the games and my fitness apps and so far they're working. However, I decided to replace it. I'm not sure what I will get, but it's fun to shop! Thank you again.
